The Cliff Recording Sessions on Video

Part 1 – The recording of Bullets HD SFX Library at the cliffs. Packed up and ready to go! This video starts after driving for 15 minutes up a steep and dusty logging road and we are almost at the top of the mountain. Getting to the recording session site is half the fun.

Part 2 – The recording of Bullets HD SFX Library at the cliffs. The real work begins! This video includes footage from some suppressed automatic weapons and a really nice Mauser rifle. The audio is from a Sennheiser MKH-8040ST, MKH8060 and a MKH-416.

Recording somewhere out there in the wilds if Idaho. September 6, 2012. Here is a short clip I took with my iPhone of a suppressed 22 full automatic firing 20 rounds (quickly I might add). The microphones used were a Sennheiser MKH8040ST, MKH8060, (2) MKH8040 and a MKH416 all set up close to the gun. The location is on a mountain cliff in North Idaho. And yeah, that damn grasshopper was flying around all day irritating us with it’s clicking sound.
