Creative Sound Design, LLC (The Recordist) (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://therecordist.com (the “Site”). This privacy policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Data we receive from users of the Site. Personal Data is information about you, that is not otherwise available to the public, that you willingly provide to Creative Sound Design, LLC in order to use the Site or pay for a license to our products.

By using our Services and/or registering for an account with us, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to our collection, use, disclosure and retention of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not provide the information we require, we may not be able to provide some of our Services to you.

Registration
In order to purchase a license for the products on this Site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products on our site in which you have ordered and for you to have secure access to your purchase. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Orders

We use Amazon S3, an established third-party vendor via SSL links to manage digital delivery of the products. These companies do not use this information for any other purpose. We do not store credit card and debit card numbers on our servers or systems.
