Flying Insects HD Pro Sound Effects Library contains wild and crazy performances from real live insects. Recorded over the course of four years, this “Bugs Gone Wild” collection is loaded with unique bug vocalizations and movements. There are enough wing buzzing and flying around in circles to make your head spin. Insects are really difficult to record. For one, they really do not take well to instructions as they have a mind of their own. Second, they are not very loud unless they slam into the microphone at high speed. Getting decent recordings was quite a challenge. These recordings come from chance encounters with the insect population here in North Idaho…where we have a few bugs.
The only foley in this collection is the sound of me trying to shake the bug off a stick after it flew into a spider web and got trapped. Other than that, this collection is 100% live bug! Recorded and painstakingly mastered at 24-Bit 96kHz, this “Bugs Gone Wild” sound effects library contains 321 broadcast WAV files with detailed metadata.
