The Recordist presents the Foreman ATV 4×4 HD Professional sound collection. Recorded on a quiet ranch in North Idaho, this Honda Fourtrax Foreman ATV with a powerful 500cc four stroke engine is a general workhorse 4×4 for trail and ranch. Exterior starts, stops, passe bys, approach & away, cornering and general driving from multiple perspectives. Perspectives include: close stereo Sennheiser MKH-8040 XY, Distant stereo PCM D-100 XY and following with a Schoeps MK4/MK8 MS stereo set.
The onboard 4 channel Broadcast WAV tracks include driving at slow, medium & fast speeds, starts & stops, engine idles & dirt skids.
Surfaces include grass and dirt for a diverse set of sounds. Slow, medium and high speed manuevering and pass bys up and down grassy hills and a gritty dirt road. Stationary engine start and rev included.
This collection started out as a out-take sound library from the TIRES Episode 2 session. More exterior recording was completed to round out the set. If you need a beefy, fat sounding 4×4 ATV for your project then this set should do it for you. Enjoy! -Frank
