Helicopters 1 HD Pro contains 76 helicopter sound effects. All of the sounds from Helicopters HD Mini are included. The helicopters were recorded while at the local county airport, from random fly-bys over the house and when out on location recording other material and they just happened to fly over.
There are eleven helicopter models in this collection. These include a Kaman K-1200 “K-Max” Heavy Lift Helicopter • Aerospatiale AS350B2 • AgustaWestland 119Kx “Koala” • Eurocopter AS350 B3 • Eurocopter EC120 • Bell UH-1H “Huey” • Bell 212 Twin “Huey” • Bell HH-1K • Boeing CH-47-D Chinook • Sikorsky UH-60A Blackhawk • Bell 407 and a tiny little Schweizer 269C.
Included are close, medium and distant fly bys along with a engine starts, shut downs and pre-flight hovering. The helicopters in this collection were recorded arriving and departing the airport and performing routine FAA re-certification maneuvers.
Helicopters 2 HD Pro continues the journey started with Helicopters 1 back in 2015. After 3 years of going to the local airport and recording various rotorcraft I can finally reveal to you this stunning set of 97 sounds from a wide variety of helicopters.
Included are close, medium and distant passes along with turbine engine starts, shut downs and hovering (tons of “Blade Chop”). The helicopters were recorded arriving and departing the airport and performing photo shoot maneuvers. All the sounds in this collection are from a exterior perspective. Recorded in stunning XY and MS decoded stereo with high end microphones.
Highlights include: very fast passes, aggressive approaches, graceful hovering, extremely close up starts with ground runs and overhead departing. I poured my heart and soul into this collection and hope you enjoy them as much as I did recording them. (More to come…) -Frank
